The Collector Source has some brand new post war web slings for $44.95 for your post war Garand.

I have one on each of my post war rifles all dated 1952.

Turner Saddlery

Go for the M1907 "seconds" for $36 bucks.  I ordered one, then immediately ordered another.  These are the slings that CMP used to sell with their CMP Special.  Superior quality...

Get the "second".  There is NO DIFFERENCE between this and the non blemished.  Mine is PERFECT.

thanks for the tip!

I had a gun store owner offer me a WWI original leather sling for 40$. It was in rough shape and I probably could have saved it with the leather treatment wax that TS sells, but I'd rather have a nice new one... which is odd since the rifle it will be going on was made in 1917 LOL

The CMP sells both a reproduction M1 web sling and a nice leather sling.  Look under the commercial parts link on the estore.   The also have some M1 nylon slings on the surplus parts page.

Thanks for the help I placed an order with Charleys Surplus so we will see how they do for ordering.  Picked up a leather, Web, and then the M1 multi tool from Charleys.
