I have a VKT M39 but I didn't get it from SOG. I can tell you though they are amazing rifles and have one of the nicest trigger pulls I've ever felt on

I did the handpick on a VKT from SOG last December, and I received an awesome rifle. Excellent bore, everything in great refurb state. I've just started hand loading for it, hoping to wring some good accuracy out of it. Definite step up far and above a non-finn mosin. Note that I added the rubber butt pad to do my shoulder a favor.
If you don't have one, go for it!
