My buddy just purchased a very nice condition Mosin Nagant M44. He's wanting to get a scope mount and scope for it. Another friend who has one, said a scout mount would be fine, and wouldn't have to change anything. He's looking to add the mount without having to drill or tap or anything of the sort. |

It's a mount by darrel, weaver scope, and burris zee ultra low rings. Scope mount info scope rings Some things you should know. This setup is not cheap. It cost about 2.5x the cost of the rifle. The scope is 1.5x to 4x, but only 4x works well. I went with a small diameter scope because I thought it looked better on the rifle, but a larger diameter would be more functional. I believe it is a good setup for way past 100 yards. I haven't shot it past 100 yet but it grouped about 1 MOA at 100, and 4x is good enough for me to see well past 100. |
