Can a M845 be used on a rimfire 22 mag without harming the scope?

Looking to do some night time dog hunting here in MI and that is the only legal cal.

Thanks,
Ric

M845 + Gen 2 L3 SHP Tube = .308 recoil just fine. NO issues ever reported and this was the FIRST thing we did with these scopes when we first got them to test several years ago....Well besides look through them first. I REALLY like these units, always have. Absolutely the best bang for the NV buck IMHO.

Simple version: Yes, it's fine on .22 Rimfire...

I just hope you can figure out how to install the scope on the gun, remember the bullet comes out of the hole at the end.

You can find a piece that will fit the dovetails and give you enough rail on top. I had to do some modifications to allow a rail on my bolt .22 mag, but it works fine.
