Why exactly is the SCARs grip proprietary? Seems like it'd make more sense for them to have designed it to use either normal AR grips or its own non-AR based proprietary grip like a Scorpion Evo or an integral one like an ACR |

Yea it's a bit of a pain finding all the parts. I have a geissele 2 stage on the scar 20 now, I will need the right logo GG&G bipod as mines the later style, grip is found, the mount is an spr1.5, optic I think is a 5-25 (happy to be corrected) and for the suppressor, I have both aac scar mounts but I using a more unobtainium suppressor than the aac. The gemtech SSR made specifically for the scar mk20 SSR program. This was when surefire hadn't gotten the nod yet.

The unobtanium parts really are just the side rails, suppressor, and auto match trigger. I’ve seen the trigger for sale only once. It wasn’t the two stage one, so I passed on it. Never seen the rails for sale. Auto carrier, depending on whether it’s the open back, tungsten weight, or regular one, would also be difficult. Only the open back would probably be actually unobtanium. |

In the early stages of building an NSW style dmr (Block 2 with ECOS-O scope). If I wanted to build a companion NSW Mk20, what would be the correct scope? If NSW was sticking the ECOS-O on 5.56guns I assume they were upgrading their 7.62 guns, or would I just be looking for a 2nd ECOS-O for the mk20 as well? |

When I did a reverse look-up of the image, I found the image on “Tyr 1 outfitters” website advertising the suppressor as a B&T Rotex III, which they happen to be the exclusive distributor of for the U.S. market. |
