So I just recieved my copy of quickload.  From the looks of it, it will take me a while to get my bearings with this software, but that's ok, I'm not averse to learning technical stuff.

Anyway, I notice that MOBUCO bullets are not included in the bullet data files that come with the program.  A quick search of the internet on google didn't turn anything up, either.

I'm specifically looking for data to use for the 95 grain .380 MOBUCO lead bullets.

I saw a thread somewhere on another forum where it looked like someone had a missouri.bul data file for MOBUCO projectiles.  Anyone know where I can find this?

Sent a note to MOBUCO, but hoping for a quick answer on this knowledgeable forum...

I can be quick, or I can be knowledgeable, but it is hard to be both at the same time.

My QL does not list any thing for MOBUCO, or missouri.bul.  I am not familiar with their bullets at all.

My QL does list both Lyman and Lee cast bullets, the Lee at 102 grains, and the Lyman at 92 grains.

If you measure the length of your bullets, and compare them to the lengths and profile of one of those, you may find a close match.  The software will let you change the weight and the length of the bullet, as well as the shot start pressure.

I used this procedure looking for a load for my S&W 625.  I had a Lyman 452423 mould, but they only listed the Lyman 454424 bullets.  They are close to the same from the crimping groove forward, so I adjust the length and the weight to reflect the bullet I had, which, after all, was a shorter, lighter version.  Sort of a fudge factor if you will.

Its not perfect, but, then again, QL is not perfect.  QL is very good however.

I wish there was more bullet data listed, and more powder data.  They list powders from all around the world, but Longshot was apparently not included..  It may very well be there, but under a name I am unfamiliar with.
