Built this out of a post sample MP5SF parts kit and SW cast reciever.  Knights rail dicked up the finish around the trunion.

Sweet googlie-mooglie!

that's an awesome gun!  you did that from parts?

with skills like that I bet you could make working copy of the DeathStar out of an old Ford...

Build is a relative term. Had to have an HKsmith press the barrel for me as I didnt want to go through the hassle of building a jig and to risk "Fing" up the recvr. It was a matter of welding the cocking tube in place, installing the flapper and welding the front site base on.

Do you figure it's in working condition now?  If so, how fast can you get that sucker to the range?

I'm just itching to see a range report on this thing

The gun has been shot around 1000 rounds or so.

Runs fine.

Missing the detent on the rear sight so I just took it off for now, rather than have it spin uncontrollably.

Chris is that the same you used in the June 3-gun at RRR?

If it is that is one sexxxy weapon!  It handles great and that Eotech is the perfect sight for that weapon platform.

Later!
