Looking to purchase an A3 Stock for my HK94.  The original German ones are not always readily available but I frequently come across the POF contract ones.  Are these similar in quality?  Do they lock up as tight as the original ones?  Since the price is roughly half of what a German one costs I am actually considering it.  What are your opinions? Thanks.....

I have a POF A3 stock on my Mp5 clone and I think it is of good quality. I think the POF is about the same concerning functionality, however the HK is a little better cosmetically.

Unfortunately, there are no absolutes to this question. Several people, including myself, have the POF stock and it works great. I love mine. But others have had problems with them. I paid $200 for mine at RobertRTG.

I have no experience with the POF versions and I'm sure they may work just fine...but I would stick with factory Hk parts on a rifle that you already dished out a large chunk of change for.  Why skimp to save $150-$200 for a stock on a $3,500 + rifle?

This is oh so true but availability and not money is my main concern.... Believe me its not like I want to go the POF route, I just cant seem to find a German A3.  I have found a bunch of the "F" style ones but im not interested in the extra length that comes with an "F".  I want the Standard A3.  Anybody got a source for German equipment that I dont know about?  The usual suspects (hkparts.net, robertrtg, etc...) havent had any A3's in a while.

Hmm, yeah looks like HK Parts is out of stock for the regular A3 stock, however they do have the F stock for $449 and an A3 rear section for $198. You could put them both together if you really want it now and HK made. But yeah i would either keep looking and wait until something pops up for sale, which i do see occasionally, or just buy the POF stock.
