Are the "straight" German military MP5 mags good to go in a registered sear gun?
How about the Turk MP5 magazines?
What mags should I avoid?
Thank you in advance for any thoughts or opinions.

Only (curved) mags I have had problems with in my clones have been the south korean ones... both HK and MKE mags have worked flawlessly... YMMV

I have heard that the straight magazines do not reliably feed hollow points.
Other then that, it should not be a problem.

True, the straight mags are no good. Send them to me and i'll get rid of them no charge!
Happy to help.
