OK, I've had this thing since January 2003.  It has been verry reliable and fun.  I have decided it is time to do a thorough clean and lube of the weapon.  Problem is, I can't find any directions on how far I should take itt down and when finished where to put lube versus oil versus ???

Any links to something like this?

Thanks in advance.

You can download a MP5 manual from this page: www.gunmanuals.ch/manuals03.htm

Thanks HKrazy.

I haven't found the part that details where and what to lube with but I'll find it.  Sure wish there was an HK board like ARFCOM.  But I only got the MP5 and Tactical so I'll figure it out.

Go to HKPRO.COM you will most likely find what your looking for. I've got an HK MP5K and I usually generously lube with my finger the bolt carrier and Bolt with close attention to the rollers with CLP or something compareable . I usually lightly lube all moving parts in the trigger group.

Good Luck!

Thanks pancho.  I forgot the name of the site.

I usually do as you do only I use a bit of grease on the moving parts (rollers and carrier) and I oiled the trigger group pretty well.  I sprayed it and shook out all the excess I could.
