Is there any reason that MP5 parts kits sell for $1500+ when you can by a post sample MP5 for well under $1,000?  Shouldn't a parts kit be less than a post sample?

Wouldn't it be easy enough to find a post sample Mp5 for sale, have the SOT cut it up and ship it to you? Even if they added 100 dollars for the trouble of having to cut it thats still way less than most parts kits are selling for.
