What is the value of a civilian version H&K MP5 semi-auto? Thanks in advance.... -HS |
Market pricing since the people who want them are buying them to put $10K sears in, so $3500 is nothing for the MGshooter who wants as real an MP5 as he can get. The average semi-auto shooter will pass and just get a clone or something else. But for the HK enthusiast, there is no substitute for genuine HK. |
Can someone explain this? I mean, I like HKs, I own around 3, none of them were "cheap," but $3500 for a 9mm carbine seems out of whack. HK 91s and 93s, presumably, take/took the same of effort to crank out, right? I relaize that they only made them for a couple years, but without a F/A solution, we're talking about a smallish carbine or a GIGANTIC pistol, right? That is all. |

I will add that I would assume it also has alot to do with total number imported into this country before the 89 Ban on imports. Like the HK 93 (only around 15,000 were imported) 93's and 94's are harder to find so the price goes up for these two HK rifles. The 308 version however (hundreds of thousands exist in the US) a better deal can be found. |
