I bought an earlier STG556 with the fluted bolt carrier and today I finally got around to shooting it. The gun performed flawlessly and was amazingly accurate. I sighted it in at 50 yrds with Winchester Q3131 and Federal XM195 55gr. Once sighted in I moved to 100 yard targets. The factory optic on my rifle isn't canted like some I've seen and even the trigger isn't bad for a bullpup. All my groups were within 3" and some were even 2", not bad for a low powered optic for a first outing. After exhausting 200 rnds of 55gr ammo I tried some Winchester Green Tip M855. My rifle loved this stuff and the groups shrunk to 1 1/2".
I'm really happy with the performance of this rifle and I think the build quality is superior to my AUG. Well done MSAR.

I love shooting mine, even more now since I got a factory optic and put it on.   The bullpup sure lends itself for QCB and shootability in my book.  Glad you had a great experience too

Where did you get the factory optic?  How pricey?

From a member here on the board that got it from another member who upgraded to a rail.

Sumo, I agree and the more I shoot this rifle the more I like it. I went to the range again today and let 2 friends shoot my STG, they were so impressed they are both going to buy one. MSAR did a great job producing these rifles.
