I love the Urban ERT rifle slings, and the one on my PS90 is fantastic. I like how he has a cinch strap that you can shorten and lengthen with just 1 hand.

However, I was trying to get the MSAR sling to work and be positioned like my PS90 two point sling.

I found that using the MSAR's front swivelpoint gets in the way, and the Urban ERT attachment that hooks near the rear of the optic rail makes it like a 1 point sling hybrid. I prefer geuine 2 point slings.

Anyway - I've sacrificed having a flashlight on the side rail, and I mounted an attachable sling point.

I purchased it from Urban ERT, and I asked him  to sew a 5" strap to it, and then attach a buckle. This allowed me to wrap the strap underneath the gun - and now it carries and is positioned like my PS90 2 point sling.

any chance we could get pics of you wearing it? Or maybe a hot female friend if you are camera shy?

Haha, I'll see what I can do later this weekend.

Be careful that you don't melt the sling with it wrapped around the gas cylinder and barrel or that the sling gets damaged from venting gas.

Well, I can also wrap the sling under the gun behind the forward grip - so maybe I'll do that instead.

Depending on your gas setting, the gas vents from the front holes on the gas block.  They'll act like a plasma cutter if you get something in the way, like your fingers.

I use a Spec Ops 1-point sling.

Nice setup, doesn't look too different from how I have a std sling set up on my STG's:

Yes, I suppose the sling is set up similar. You just use a longer rail to accomplish essentially the same thing.

I thought of doing that, but I wanted the Urban ERT sling - and his buckle would not fit between the longer rail and the gun. However, I suppose I could have had him sew a longer piece of nylon to the front swivel, just like I had him do with the rail sling point I got from him.

Your gun was what I used to decide upon the magpul sights, however. And, I almost went with an RX30 too. So, thanks again for all your help!
