A post above got me thinking about a project shotty of mine that has been sitting. I picked up a worn Browning A-5 that has replacement wood and ran into an over eager buffer sometime in its past. I had my gunsmith chop the bbl down to 18.5 and add a base&bead. I then added a Nordic comp +2 magazine extension. The problem, however, is that the factory browning magazine follower doesn't want to make the jump from the end of the mag tube into the extension. The factory unit looks like a thimble and the fwd edge of the cup seems to be hanging up.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a follower that might work better. I thought of trying to get a solid plastic one from Brownells but, I can't seem to find them now. Wilson might work but, I can't find one sold apart from an ext. Any input would be appreciated ETA-thx. my Fu is weaker than I thought
