My dad has a good supply of pure lead.  I shoot 9mm, 357, 223, 22-250, 30-06. Would casting lead bullets fire well from any of these caliburs?

The 9mm and .357 for sure, not sure on the rifle.

yes they all workable.  the rifle loads are reduced loads and gas checked.  you will need to add some tin and antimony to pure lead or a 50-50 mix to wheelweights.

Pure lead is better suited to front-stuffers.  You'll need to add some tin and antimony to make the lead harder for the uses you're asking for.

Yep, pure lead will not work for any of those calibers. Pure lead is for muzzle loaders only.
