these any good?

Thinking about adding one to the 22LR collection. Not that I really need another 22LR rifle

I have a 981ts that shoots just a little less accurately than my CZ-452.  A Nicely made American rifle for about 1/2 the cost of the CZ.  Just replace the rigger spring with a BIC pen spring cut to the length of the original & you will have a pretty nice 1.5 # trigger.

talked with my Grandpa, who owns a shop back in PA. He has one in stock, so yeah the check will be in the mail by the end of the week.

Figure this should go along pretty good with the CZ 452 Trainer, Marlin Model 60, and Romanian M69 trainer that I have out here in North Dakota

I do not need another .22, either. But the 981 keeps tempting me.

If I knew I could put the tech sights on it, I'd already own one.

Why could you not install tech sights?
The receiver is grooved for tip off mounts and drilled and tapped for bases as well.

If I knew for sure it would take a dovetail base, and knew which one, I'd buy the silly thing!
