I just aquired a Model 42 Marlin 12 ga pump. It seems to be locked up, as in I can't open it to inspect the barrel and chamber. Also, the mainspring seems to be broken or missing, as there is no tension on the hammer. Where can i find out more about this old shell shucker? |

That is one of the hammered ones correct? e-gunparts has a few parts The hammered marlins have a rep for being weak and blowing up I have never seen it but I have only seen a couple hammered marlin pumps and they were pretty ragged heres a sight with some intresting info www.100megspop3.com/oldvalkyry/marlin.html |
