New toy. Max31 upper for my m11/9. Uses 72rd suomi drum mags and the 50rd suomi coffin mags.
AFG2 looks like it will work great. Fast fire is tiny but will do for now.

But the drums look cool. I may pick one up in case I come across an extra m11 at a good price. But the tok is so cheap now and I have like 20k rounds of it. |

How is the support hand trying to get around that drum? My only concern is having an awkward hold on the front while my arm rubs up against the drum. I was originally #47 on the list for this. Haven't decided if I'm going to buy when my number comes up. Shot a couple drums through it this weekend. Ran great. The magpul AFG2 worked great, but supposedly any regular VFG works fine as well in it. Thinking bout selling it though. Need to put some cash back into my bank and probably going to keep the max-11 instead. Still debating. It's really cool to load 70+ rounds so easy. |
