[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Maxhard?

Does anyone have any experience with the Olympic arms Maxhard receiver? Is this more brittle than a standard receiver? Anyone heard of any problems with it? Is it worth the extra dough? I'm thinking about buying for my children for a day in the future when AR-15s may not be available, so longevety would count for a lot, if it lasts longer.
