Membership and Order Inbound > M1 / M14 / M1 Carbine

So today I submitted my membership for the Garand Collectors Association and am going to send out my order tommorow for my first garand. The only question I have is on the notary thing. Where the hell am I supposed to find a notary?

So for my order all I will need to submit is the order form and a copy of my birth certificate?

GO to your local bank to get it notarized--usually it's free, but the most they are legally allowed to charge you (last I knew) is $3.

Nobody move, this is a segway hijacking....

Okay, I sent my GCA app yesterday. If I sent my order to CMP today can I really trust that the GCA will get the information over to CMP fast enough to not get the order bounced? I guess I was thinking I would have to get some kind of confirmation back from the GCA (like the membership card) before even thinking about my CMP order.

I'm a CMP n00b so go easy on me.

The GCA sends the CMP a list of there new members every week I did the same as you so have know worries.
