For duty carry, you will be better served by a side opening auto. I have a Halo II, and two Microtech L-UDT's, and I find the side openers are much better all around utility knives. Plus, side openers are inherently stronger than OTF knives. Don't forget to check out the Benchmade auto's. The 5000 Auto-Presidio is arguably the strongest, most robust auto available for a reasonable price (you can find them for $150-$160 online).
