Have a early Springfield~Stevens Model 15, the bolt has perplexed me since day one, anyone have an idea how disassemble this peashooters firing mechanism ?

I hope this actually helps you. There stevens model 15, 15a, 15b and stevens model 120a are all basically the same single shot rifle. Remove the bolt and look for a pin in it. I was told that all you needed to do was drive that pin out and the firing pin will just fall out. I don't have one of these rifles so I don't know exactually were that pin is. If you find that you need a replacement part try this web site –– Bob's gun parts and look about half way down on the left hand side of the page. I hope this helps you some.

I bought a stock from him for a Stevens 20ga single shot, got here in record time.
