I picked-up this Model 1912 Chilean Mauser in 7mm Mauser today. Made by Steyr, Austria. I gave $150.00 OTD for it.
I think this one went through a complete refurb including restocking but was left in 7mm. Numbers match except for the rear sight slider. Almost a perfect bore.

I was right about the refurb.
It's wearing a SIG replacement barrel. After WW-1 Austria could not send replacement barrels out of the country so SIG took up the slack. LOL....I guess it's a Steyr/SIG now. 
I dug around in my Box-O-Slings and found the proper sling for it minus the parade loop. It must have got lost. |

If you look on the barrel you will see three letters (SJG) in a oval box. That is SIG's barrel mark. |
