I know these have been brought up before.
But buying one of these stainless steel brakes and welding a stainless steel tube over it is pretty temping for an inexpensive direct-thread can. ------> https://www.wish.com/product/5af3e2f60f707d1b66ca497a How do you think one of these would perform? I saw one that had a bunch of angular cuts in it but I can't find it now. The "baffles" looked like this: >>>>>>>. I would think that would do pretty well. But I was also wondering how the stainless steel would hold up to 5.56. Out of 12 to 16 inch barrels. Thoughts? |

| No, I'm saying the Chinese brakes make for very basic monocores and likely wont perform well for supersonic cartridges. As opposed to Liberty (which I've heard), that is very nicely machined for strength to weight, high void volume, and subtle refinements for flow disruption. |
