FWIW ––-> I stripped off the mounting hardware on mine, sealed the holes on the housing, attached a lanyard and use mine as a hand held flashlight. This is not to say that the Torch isn't useful. I ended up mounting a V952 on my weapon and have an M1 Surefire on my helmet. Things seem to work out better that way, for me.
