Just picked up a new Sparc II  for my CZ Scorpion carbine.  Will be heading to the range on Friday to sight her in.  Where is the best place to mount the Sparc II on the rail  ?  Middle, rear, forward  ?

I'm sure Wifey will want a red dot on her Beretta Storm once she shoots my CZ.  Where should I mount the red dot on the Storm  ?

Thanks ! !

p.s. PCC's aren't cheap to set up and run but they sure are fun ! ! !

Rearward with the best eye relief in mind typically based on your personal cheek weld on the weapon.

my SPARC II is slightly forward of where my landho mounts his...cross bolt on T5 on the rail of my 9 1/2" .22 upper for my SBR... my Spitfire is way forward at T11 for my 5.56 pistol with KAK tube ... YMMV and as commented, depends on your personal preference

I had mine pretty far forward but I couldn't do the "HK slap" on the locked back charging handle. Moved mine back a little

They are absolutely correct ^. I forgot I moved mine forward a bit to co witness my backup sights. In fact, even without, the placement was better for me a bit forward.

I typically mount mine towards the back, mainly just for balance & ease of operation.
Eye relief on a red dot is infinite so it's really just what looks best to you. I've also got two AKs and a VZ-2008 that have red dots above the handguards, that seems to work fine as well.

I have mine one slot back from yours, thats about the tipping point to be able to comfortable use the charging handle without interference.
