[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Moving with NFA items?

I am moving from GA to FL with a couple of cans and a couple of SBR's. I checked the laws and know it is ok to own them in FL, but was wondering --and checked the BATF website but could not find anything. What do I need to do regarding moving those items to FL?

Moving your residence is not something regulated by the NFA. But you need to submit a 5320 to cover the interstate transport inherent to the move. SBR, DD, MG require the form, but suppressor and AOW do not.

Yes a 5320.20 submitted in duplicate, ink signed on both copies.

Box 2 check "NO" Expect about a 3-4 week turnaround time. Martinsburg will approve the 5320.20 for you silencers although it is not required.
