Ok trying to plan a suppressor and future firearm purchase... I want to be able to use a 9mm suppressor on a HK94/MP5, AR15 9mm, UPS 9 sd, and a Sig 226 tac and MAYBE glock. Is this even possible? Should I just plan on buying multiple suppressors? I would rather have a couple suppressors that work great than one that is mediocre on both platforms. I know the MP5 and a 9mm AR15 can share suppressors reasonably well, but I don't know about the pistols and I don't even know if they are threaded the same. One more question...does anyone know what the MP5-Navy barrel and a 9mm ar upper thread pitch is? |

SWR's Trident-9 is a very nice can. It has adapters for three-lug and thread mount with and without a booster. AAC has said they were going to make a three-lug adapter for the Evo-9. I've been told it might be out in the near future. If you go with the SWR can, I don't think you'll find any better dealer than Henry at Title II. Mark |

Get a SWR Trident hands down, don't even think about it, just get one! I have all three mounts(1/2x28, MP5 3-Lug, and 1/2x28 LID). It bounces from the 9mm AR15 subgun(both of them) to my Glock 19, my buddies threaded Beretta 92FS and soon to my MP5 SBR (when the F1 gets approved any day now). My shooting buddy who is picking up a M11 has the 1/2x28 threads and I will be giving it a run on that as well. It is a full auto rated can! Generally the 9mm AR upper threads are 1/2x36. I got my 3-lug adapter from Mark at The Riddle of Steel (www.trosusa.com). I also have one of their 5" barrels with the 3-lug machined into it. For what you are looking at you will need the following: SWR Trident MP5 3-Lug mount and both the 1/2x28 and the 1/2x36 Lid Shafts with 1 Lid body That SHOULD take care of all your needs. You can always get your barrels all threaded the same and then you can cut out one of the LID shafts. I think the MP5 Navy is running a metric thread(anyone, please correct me if i am wrong). I love mine and would never consider any other modular 9mm can, I have heard most of them and the Trident wastes them all! Questions? feel free to IM me, I can send you a bunch of pics if you are interested. -TS |

I have a SWR Trident 9 also and can testify to it's performance. I use it for full auto on my Micro UZI 9mm. I also have the LID adapter and use it on my CZ 75 in 9mm. I even tried it on my Ruger .22 and it works just as well as the SWR Warlock .22 can I own. It's just a little larger diameter. I called SWR and asked about the 9mm can on a .22 and they said "Blast Away" and not to worry about it. They reccommended plated .22 ammo to keep the leading down. I'm currently buying a .22 barrel and bolt so I can run my AR in full auto .22 and SWR said, no problem there either. Great products, company and people. Here's a link of a buddy shooting my CZ 75 with the Trident 9 on it. s105.photobucket.com/albums/m210/cellpro10/?action=view¤t=TedCZ75.flv&refPage=&imgAnch=imgAnch3 |
