I live in SD, and have found multicam to be an excellent pattern for the terrain here most of the year. Im looking for a quality jacket thats waterproof and warm enough for 10-20 degrees F.  A set of pants would be nice too.  Any reccomendations?

Damn, $400 for a jacket is alittle pricey.

yeah I haven't been able to justify the cost of these yet. You are going to have to have plenty of layers under those to handle 10-20 degrees, I would think

Atlantco, I think, is making a "ecws" multi cam jacket that is about $ 80. But I have heard it is kind of crappy.

You can usually find issue ECWS in the EE for around $50-$75 per piece.  If woodland is too dark for your AO, buy a 3 color desert set and adjust w/ krylon.

Yeah, I have one and I regret buying it.  Really poor quality (in my opinion) next to an issue woodland.

Please post a review in my thread if you have one and have used it.  I would like to be able to offer a full thread of real information about this.
Also, there is no jacket in the 80$ range, you will notice that if you want an "adult" sized one that fits, it will be 120$  Shop arround, you can find them cheaper.

Thanks

If your not an operator you should not wear Multicam!

j/k as everyone knows operators switched last week from multicam to mossy oak

Jezz, it's not THAT bad. it's interesting to see the Arfcom irony in action: the $120 one is crappy, but I don't want to spend $$$ to get the better one

as someone who own's one of the 'better' i.e. expensive, ones, the OTTE, it's not all that. dare I say it, there are features on the tru-spec one that I like better.

there are also these ones       please note that it's from Canada and the tru-spec one ( that cost $120 ) is listed for $200  so....

there is this also

If you read the post that you quoted you'll see I didn't say anything about not buying the more expensive stuff.  I bought the Tru-Spec stuff because I was able to get it very cheap (new, not used).  I didn't think it would be the most awesome thing ever––it was just not that great.  The tape was bunched up in a few places, didn't cover some seams (as in not straight), and the zippers don't like to work.  Plus, the liner is stitched oddly––the lines aren't straight.

fair enough
but there has been a LOT of, "I don't like the cheap one, and don't want to pay $$$ for the good one" lately in this forum.....

BTW, I also got the OTTE used for half price so yeah I did'nt want to pay $$$ for the good one my self, but is was on my 'to do' list and was willing to if I had to

I've got some OTTE gear, and am quite happy with it.  My OTTE Soft Shell will see daily use from now until some time when it gets too hot to wear anymore.

If you get a chance to snap some pics and do a review, please add it to my thread.  It would be great to have a compiled list of reviews and pics.
