So I am looking to purchase a TT MAV in Multicam, problem is the TT belt is not in MC (padded) so how much will ACU (Belt) stand out against the MC MAV.

Thanks

Rick

Alot! If you don't mind waiting a while, order one from ICE. Here

Rick, get it in tan. It will work much better with MC.

Thanks...that would save me a bunch...HSGI also has a MC padded belt...only 5 bucks cheaper and is adjustable...

Rick, HSGI is one of the best gear makers out there. If you have to have MC, they would be a great choice. But if not, the TT in tan would probably be your best bet.

I was just looking at the HSGI chest rigs...what is comparable with HSGI to the TT MAV?

Warlord V1 or V2??

The Warlord is in an entirely different catagory. I had a V3 and it was awesome. I wish I never sold it.

but I am confused on which warlord comes with rifle mags versus pistol, I am trying to find a good setup already "packaged" versus building one by pieces...

How many rifle mags and how many pistol mags do you want on your rig?

[#11]
If I were ordering one myself, I would get a version 3 (has 4 triple AR mag pouches) and two rows of MOLLE webbing on each side. Then I would add 2 double pistol mag pouches, one on each side for a total of 4. That is a hell of a load out.

Thanks !

Why not just get the V2 since it has the pistol mags??

Rick, you should also consider one of ESSTAC's BOARS. VERY high quality gear.

That is more cost effective, but I don't like the big nalgene pouches on the side.

I strongly...strongly recommend to not go w/ ICE Tac...

Do some searches here and on Lightfighter.  The guy doesn't have such a good rep.  He'll take your order...not keep up contact and you MAY.....MAY get your product sometime w/in the year.  I have never had any experience w/ ICE but I've heard enough ppl complain that I will not try my luck w/ him.  W/ that said he does make kick ass products so if you can find an ICE belt on the EE or Lightfighter or somewhere from an owner than buy it up quick no matter the price.

Hand made does not necessarily equal Long Delay.

Although it is a good indicator .

Stuart Wilson of Esstac still cuts and stitches everything by hand and the majority of his orders are going out in + or - a week, if not days.

A lot of that is knowing your market and servicing it, versus expanding your presence in the marketplace beyond your ability to deliver.  A lot of that has to do with the trend of trying to make a competitor to everything out there.

Thanks for the correction brass, was not trying to slam Stuart since I do not know him, my statement only reflects MY impatience.
