Does anyone have a list of colors that match Multicam in DuraCoat and/or CeraKote?

I sent an email to LCW asking this same question a few days ago but got no response.

That question has been asked on this forum before.  It seems to be either a mystery or a closely guarded secret.  I just got a couple Multi-cam examples, not sure if I'll be able to figure this out but I'm going to try and will let the gang know.  Hell, there's even kind of a pinkish brown in there. (no...seriously, I think there is).

I do have one word of input - the colors are only part of the MC camo equation.  The pattern is more complicated than it seems, and blending the colors in the larger patterns (there are two blended color combos) are just as important.

IMHO - I am really excited about MC.  I've got a couple of projects slated for MC, and I'll bet once I get them done there will be more.

Any help on the colors from people who've already been through this process is mucho appreciated.

I'm guessing they want to you buy all the possible colors so they can make more money......bastards...

I custom mix a couple colors then a lot of it is done by shading colors on top of others.

That looks great.

In order to closely replicate MC you're gonna need to buy a whole bunch of different colors to test out and be very handy w/ an airbrush as to get the shading correctly.

I've got a how to in my sig and it's pretty close to MC but it coulda been better and I'm thinking about re doing it.

The colors I used where Krylon's line of flat camo: white, khaki, satin green, brown, medium brown.

That is high quality multicam pimp action right there!!  As always, when I see that second picture, it makes me think that is probably close enough to the real coloring to be highly effective.

That's awesome! I didn't even notice the rifle the first time I looked.  I thought it was just a picture of multicam for reference.  good job!

Thanks guys.  I agree Karsten's is much better than mine.  Mine is more of a 30 minute job while his gets down to the fine details that make MC what it is.  The blending he did on that was wonderful.  There is a member (can't remember the name) who did a PASGT helmet and did an awesome job blending colors also.  I'd say that to correctly blend the colors you're gonna have to use an airbrush.  Good luck!
