I went out with 762Bodydropper today to scout a potential hunting area. We decided to take some pics:

My Zulu with long pockets, Eagle med. pouch (on top) and EGL hydro pouch on back:

Good pix.  I would be interested to see some pics of Multicam in a much greener "spirng" environment, and in a corn or wheat field.

All my gear is in Woodycam, but I have thought about getting the newere items I buy in multicam, especially since more recently Multicam has come down to the same rpices as Woodycam for most gear.

nice pics.....my only request is that next time take the pics w/ the person on the side or top or bottom of the pic....this will give the illusion of looking through actual eyes.  what I mean by this is by you taking pics w/ the person in the middle...the concentration immediately goes to the person and not the landscape.....

....in a real world scenario if one was having to look for someone who is concealed/not know someone is in front of them....they would not as easily pick out the person in the MC gear.

I'm having trouble explaining this but I think you'll get where I'm going.  Anyways....I'm starting to collect my MC gear and I love it.  Good pics and thanks for sharing!

I understand what your saying fivepointoh. Will do next time. I actually took these pics up close so you could see the Multicam well. 762 took alot of distance pics of me and at angles as you describe, but unfortunately his didn't turn out. I was planning on posting these showing the MC up close, then him posting his from far away.

What's a Zulu?  Who makes them and where do you buy them?  Where can you get true Multicam boonies and caps without logos or velcro?  Nice pics!!!

TIA,

they may be more than what some folks are willing to pay for around here.

The Zulu is a pack made by KIFARU. Pricey, but well worth it IMO. The quality is second to none, but the real pay-off is in the suspension system. Use a Kifaru and you won't go back to a regular pack.

One of the boonies I have has no velcro or logos, and I got it off Ebay. It is made in Canada IIRC.

I've seen Kifaru packs and they are damned good. The name just didn't click.

I thought there might be a specific site that sold them.  I've have to hit Ebay I guess.

Thanks!

Thank you too Rolly!  Don't you make Multicam vests and plate carriers?

You get what you pay for. Everytime I hump that pack around it reminds of what a great investment Kifaru is.

Glad you understood what I meant cuz I was starting to confuse myself trying to explain it.  Like I said, I love the pics but would love to see some as described....I could do this w/ some of my gear but it's a lil easier to conceal a MAV than a whole human body and wouldn't give the full effect .
