So the rule for handguns is 5 consecutive business days, and if the ffl works on a Saturday, it is considered a business day.
What about holidays? My ffl is basically telling me bullshit to over cover his ass for me to avoid his forms. Skip the his ffl his rules bullshit. Got on Saturday... Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, new years, Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Pick up on Thursday. by the stated rules I should've been ok by Tuesday no? |

What about holidays? <---FFL If the dealer conducts business on New Years Day.......it's a "business day" for the purpose of the Multiple Sale Form. For example, a dealer who only conducts business on weekends, the only days that are counted are Saturdays and Sundays..........so buy a handgun this Saturday you could not buy another handgun from that dealer for three weeks without him generating a Multiple Sale of Handgun Form. My ffl is basically telling me bullshit to over cover his ass for me to avoid his forms. Is he refusing to transfer additional handguns because he doesn't want the extra paperwork? Two handguns picked up at the same time= one 4473, one background check, one multiple sale form vs. One transferred today, the second five business days later= two 4473's, two background checks. . Skip the his ffl his rules bullshit.

ok thanks.
I don't get the background checks in my case because my CCL is good enough. I just knew he was wrong on his dates. I really didn't want to end up on the form just because of all these damn b.friday and new years sales. I wanted to keep all my business with him instead sending them to different ffl's but if he cant count to 5 he may have just lost me. Thanks again |
