| So I took my Marlin 1895 SBL out last weekend and ran about 300 rounds thru it… Good news, not a single hiccup. Bad news, after I was done I felt it. So since then I’ve been looking around for a good brake that will help reduce felt recoil while matching the stainless finish. The two that I’m looking at are the Mad Pig Thumper brake and the Ranger Point Precision Comet brake. They appear pretty similar at comparable price points with finishes that match the stainless steel of my SBL. Has anyone used either of these? What are your thoughts on them? And if you’ve used both which did you like better and why? |
| No feedback on either of those; but the brake I was considering was the Grizzly Ghost Lite. It seemed to have the most recoil reduction. |
