My second purchase suppressor is at the local class 3 after a long Form 3 process. It was great to get a look at it.
YHM Phantom 556 QD...The Form 4 is at the Chief Police and can probably mail it off tomorrow...Individual. I tryed it out on my LMT 10.5
and looked down the barrel as some have suggested and all looks good.I had already bought an extra QD FH and
Rocksett it on.The other suppressor is a Quest 22lr and that Form 4 has been at ATF since April 10 th.
Anyway its very exciting getting your first cans in and getting the final process going...

Below are Quest...

Sweet....what held up the form 3 if you don't mind me asking?

I am considering ordering from MM....but may order from the local dealer straight from YHM for a 762 SS QD...form 3 times have been all over the map from what I hear.

The first Form 3 was faxed in on March 4th and after some time i asked him to check on it...It was a In Stock item too.from factory diect i hear is really long wait, just for them to take action.
The ATF had no record of it so another was faxed on march 28th...It came through early last week...then the local guy never even called.
I found out by accident on friday but could not go in until today.
I don't blame MM...he has best price's i've seen...even with my dealers $100 tranfer fee...No Texas sales tax either.

Guess that means I'll be going with MM, even though YHM tells me the 762 is "ready to ship" I'm not sure I believe them.....hopefully the paper pushers won't "lose" the form 3 and my dealer won't be too busy to call when it shows up.

I think you will be surpried how great a price you get from MM...My dealer said he don't know how he sells them so cheap.
I guess its volumn...But my local guy just go's MSRP.

I shoot the same 556 QD suppressor on an LMT 10.5" also.  It sounds great.  A couple times at the range (while shooting full power loads through it) people have commented on how loud it is.  So I take the can off and shoot; they don't make any more comments after that...  For some reason almost everyone who doesn't own a suppressor seems to think they all make it movie quiet every time; they don't thnk/know about the supersonic bullet...  You'll love that thing.  I have found that wiping a nice wet coating of CLP on the ACME threads and the two "mating ring" surfaces keeps her nice and lubed (and rust free) for weeks at a time after just one application.  I do wipe out the blast baffle with a CLP-soaked cloth after any long session though.

Enjoy, Benji
