I just got this and thought I would share it. I have a few questions.  It has a DC Industries receiver and the  barrel has the letters ELG with a oval and a crown around it. Does anybody have any info on those parts or a good place to find out? I tried to Google but, with no luck.  Any info you guys have on those parts would be great. Thanks

DC Industries just built the receiver. Looks like a German G1 kit build. Most were sold to Turkey and then surplused from there. Most of the kits were marginal as the Turks were not known for taking care of their weapons. Unless you know who did the actual kit build, I would have it checked for any possible headspace issues.

Does look nice.

DC Industries I believe is the Dan Coonan built receivers. Good receivers. No idea on the barrel. I just bought the roughly identical rifle Saturday with the same Federal Arms Corp. DCI receiver. It shoots good and funtions flawlessly. Enjoy your new toy. Here's a picture of the one I just got.

The ELG is the marking that the Belgians used on G1 and normal FN FAL barrels.  Your G1 looks really nice.  The handguards are the wrong ones but they are more comfortable than the metal ones.
