Well I started reloading about 6 months ago. A buuddy of mine talked me into going in on the equipment with him....which resulted in me buying ALL the equipment! But in the end it seems to be working out well for me. I've been relying on the Lee reloading book for mixtures to start. Luckily I work at a job that produces a ton of .223 brass and 357 sig. I don't reload the sig so I trade it out for .40 S&W.

Anyways I built the table myself and I've been trying to make the process as simple as possible to minimize problems. I got something mixed up on my first 2 batches of .40 and had 2 squibs happen.

So here is my setup:

Looks good. Sounds like you have a nice source for brass too.

I would love to have a permanent station like that. I bounce from the garage and the TV room using a portable WorkMate bench. It gets cold out in the garage and the TV room set up allows me to load while being with the family.... and I its easier to get the whole family involved!!!

Suggest you make absolutely sure this never happens again!

With my Dillon, I’ve set up a spotlight specifically to light up the inside of the charged case during bullet seating.  As I get ready to seat the bullet, I look inside the case to make sure the powder charge doesn’t look abnormal.

Nice setup!

Thanks for the idea! I'll have to get a shop light to hang over the bench. I think the mixup happened when we switched from plated to FMJ. I learned my lesson and now I have everything setup so it won't happen again. I'm even thinking of getting a nother powder throw to mount on my pacesetter dies. That way it would be 100% quick change.
