| anybody use one of these yet? SMARTLOADER smallest biggest press, steel C frame. |
|
I searched and searched Google for Smartloader. Can up with nada...
Is that because it is Smartreloader, not Smartloader? It also says it is an "O" frame, not "C" frame. I'm sorry, I was incorrect. Looks interesting, though, namely due to the low price. jonblack |

Why? It's a modified Lee Classic Cast or based on the Lee, with Hornady style (like) bushings. Smartreloader Lee Classic Cast Smartreloader also states "Mark-XVI Reloading Press with I.D.R. System (not for U.S. market)" ETA found your c frame C Frame All Smarteloader stuff looks like Lee knockoffs. Personal I'd avoid them, most likely Chinese made POS. |

I believe this is the press to which the OP was referring.

Yep, found three different presses all near copies of Lee's, not perfect copies, but close enough to see the the relation. |

I guess, if you think about it, it is surprising that knock-offs and otherwise junk quality reloading equipment haven't come on the market sooner. I mean...reloading is big business.
Now here's the part where somebody will come along and us that LEE is junk quality... jonblack |

But for $16 that would probably work good enough to just stick a universal decapper die in it and make it a dedicated decapping station This is THE ONLY DUTY I WOULD TRUST THIS PRESS FOR. For that price and for this particular duty, I see nothing wrong with using this press. Lee's cheapest press, at $25.00 or less, will perform the same function and keep an American employed. Priceless. |
