OK guys, just out of curiosity, nothing more. Voting in this poll is ONLY for people who own one or more REGISTERED MACHINE GUNS. If you do not currently own a REGISTERED MACHINE GUN please do not vote as we are all pretty sure what your vote would be! Keep in mind that if such a change was actually made the financial impact it would have on your current NFA items. If, I repeat, "IF", there was some kind of class action suit trying to take certain parts of the law to the supreme court to force a change in the NFA rules to allow the production, registration and sale of NEW machine guns to the general public (still requiring the NFA registration and the $200 fee), would you support this movement by donating money, specifically the value of one $200 NFA registration. NOTE: To see the results without voting, just hit the "Vote" button but do not make a selection. |

I would love to see it repealed but the simple fact like I stated on the thread that preceded this thread is that it's a pipe dream so I'm not going to waste my money. I don't care if the value of my mg's go down due to an open registry because I would be registering everything I could as fast as I could but it is like wishing for world peace. The day that we have world peace is the end of the world from what I have read |
| I agree with firebugfab. I would love to see the registry reopened. However, I just don't see it realistically happening. I just bought a REGISTERED M-16A2 Commando and spent a lot of money on it. I don't ever plan on selling it so I'm not too worried about trying to get my money back. Its nice to dream, but I just don't see it as realistic given the current political climate. However, if I could ever be convinced that there was a chance of repealing the machine gun ban, I'd chip in some money. |
I didn't vote 'cuz all of my MG's are dealer samples.![]() I would gladly give money to see new MG's on the market. Everyone should be allowed to have fun!!! The prices for new MG's would spike with the increased demand (I could see $2,500-$3,000 for an M16) Sure beats $14,000-$18,000 I think LE/Govt. would have a problem with paying triple for the guns they currently get. Does anyone else see this as a stumbling block? |

I could give a shit less if everything that I owned would decrease greatly in value overnight because of some overturn in law. Additionally, if I thought this actually had a chance of happening, I would gladly donate as much money as I could afford to help it out. |
