I'm guessing he is a lawyer. What would be the best way to get in touch with him??

I don't know anything about nfafirearmstrust.com but make sure whoever you use is familiar with your state's laws.

NFA trusts are not nationally, cookie-cutter interchangeable, they're state-specific.  So beware someone who's selling a one-size-fits-all-states trust.

I for sure don't want to go through the process and have the ATF kick it back because the trust is not valid and then have to get a lawyer to correct or make a new trust for me. I would rather save the extra steps and just get it right the first time. I guess I'm just looking to be a tight ass on this part so I can use the extra money on the silencer. That's probably not a good idea when dealing with the ATF.

One thing to keep in mind.  Yes your trust could be rejected but most are approved if they look good enough superficially and fit all the ATF's check boxes.  Having a form 1 or form 4 approved by an ATF examiner doesn't mean the ATF certified your trust as valid.

If you find yourself in a legal situation down the road, it'd usually be after-the-fact that the ATF or a prosecutor would scrutinize it, looking for flaws to invalidate it.  That's why it's just best to pay someone up front who knows TX NFA trust law (not just trusts, NFA trust law).

It's unnecessary exposure to take on just to save $250 - $400.  If someone showed up on your doorstep and offered to pay you $400 cash for the right to increase the statistical possibility that you'd find yourself in legal trouble you'd tell him to pound sand.  It's the same thing when you use Quicken etc.
