Does anyone here have a NICS pin number? I keep getting delayed for no reason. Is it worth getting a pin number or are you just asking for the government to get even more into your business?

Thanks

I know 2 people who have PINs.

The Government already knows more about you than you want.

QFT
Sometimes I like to tell people I have a tracking device installed in my forearm from when I came on active duty - you should see the looks I get Joke never gets old.

To answer your question OP, it seems like it would be a good idea for your transfers and I doubt it'd be much more invasive that a secret level security clearance.

Just get a CHL in a state that allows you to skip the NICS

Doesn't let you skip the NICS it lets you bypass the waiting period.

Here in Texas, it DOES let you skip NICS (and there is no waiting period).  This is a state-by-state requirement, and many CHL states significantly simplify purchases for CHL holders.

I've had a VIN number for several years after being DENIED a transfer due to some scumbag having the same name AND birth date. It has worked at very well for me, I haven't had any issues at all since getting it.

In AZ a CHL/CCW allows you to skip the NICS too.

In Texas and Mississippi it lets you skip.
