Prior to buying my SR556 Classic Swat, I have always had/been experienced with the M-4 platform.  So, I'm struggling to understand the best means of creating quality/proper 1/3 lower co-witness. Here is what I am trying to accomplish:

I want to keep my rear stock diopter sight and front post sight.  I have the most recent version as I just took delivery of gun.

I want to have a 1/3 lower co-witness with the iron sights and a Primay Arms Micro Dot (removable base) red dot sight.

But, what mount/riser or lack of riser do I need to employ to accomplish this??

Thanks in advance.

Aimpoint T1/H1: Spacer 30mm Micro Kit P/N 12357 for cowitness with Sig-USA diopter.

I don't know anything about the Primary Arms optics.  It doesn't sound like you have your optic yet, so you'll have to see what works and what doesn't. Do they offer different mounts?

thanks for the reply. I do not have the optic yet. So right now it's more about finding the right mount than it is the optic.

You may want to look at a set of sights that are lower than the US factory ones. The Swiss version uses sights much lower. I have a low set on my 556R and like them very much.
