| Just got my Warlock II. On the AR-15 it's nice but not great. Can anyone recommend a .22 bolt rifle that's threaded from the factory? And inexpensive - this is a one-trick pony. |

Savage MkII FVSR (but you'll probably end up upgrading the stock like the rest of us). The TRR-SR comes with the better stock, but has an overly longish barrel :)
The savages routinely shoot close to 1moa at 50y with decent ammo. With a Sparrow on there I had an RO ask if the gun had even fired. Yup, it's just quiet. |

Even though I have a pair of FV-SR's, I'm seriously looking at the Ruger American Rimfire. You can actually dry fire the Ruger, it comes with a high comb recoil pad and if they have it thraeded to 0.4" then that's another reason to consider the American Rimfire over the FV-SR. |

Do you have a Ruger 10/22? If yes, the answer is a threaded American. Same mags as the 10/22. Also making the RAR one of the few bolt guns with an available, factory 25rd mag. If no, the answer is what is wrong with you; get a 10/22 and a RAR. |

Love them, and super accurate and stupid quiet with wolf match |

Another vote for the savage. So quiet it makes you giggle Your ammo stash just made me feel inadequate
Off to the internet.....

Yea I want giggle-quiet. I have crazy raccoons recently and the AR is doable but why risk it? My friends new RAR threaded + my Isis22 + some other guys CCI subs = giggle quiet. I had shot subs from a 10/22 and my Isis22, I thought I knew quiet. I plan to SBR my 10/22 and get a RAR threaded and a pile of BX25s. |

This thread is making me reconsider. Being able to use the same mags as a 10/22 is pretty sweet. I guess it'll come down to what cabelas has, or just get both. Boyds makes tacticool stocks for both the fvsr and the rar. I have an FV-SR already and do not own a 10/22. If I already had a 10/22 the American would be a done deal. Not knocking my Savage, it is a sweet suppressor host for sure. I use a SS Sparrow on mine. Sounds like a pellet gun with CCI SV or any of the sub rounds I have tried so far. |

Once you've spent time on cz 452/455, the accuracy of the others doesn't compare. Cz has a factory threaded moddle. Not to mention the 455 has the ability to change barrels/calibers with ease. That sparrow can cover them all... The only place to go after the cz is the anschutz and berretta. But get both.
