| I just took my prodigy out for the first time today. It was shooting 3 inches high and 2 inches right at 5 YARDS... It also seemed a bit on the loud side... More than I expected. I shot a few rounds through my evo-9( I know... I know. It was only 5 rounds) and they were much quietier. I'm using a Sig Mosquito as the host with the AAC adapter. Without the can it shoots to POA. The inside looks clean... No baffle strikes or rubs. Thoughts?? |

Do you have the new core? The new core has a stainless thread insert in the back of the core.
The older cores have had trouble with keyholing on some hosts. You should shoot suppressed and un-suppressed on the same target and make sure the holes in the target from the suppressor are the same round holes the unsuppressed are. I have a Prodigy with the Gen 2 core (older one) and I have keyholing and accuracy issues with my P22. I will be sending it back to AAC. They will do a free core upgrade if you are having keyhole issues. |

Might be a good idea to see what Baffle version you have were you seeing Key holing on paper? They had instability issues with the 2nd Gen Core they now offer a 3rd gen core swap you ship your can and a week later you get it back with a new core. Not sure if that is what you are experiencing.

| It looks like I have the gen 2 core... I did notice a bit of keyholing only when shooting shoot-n-see targets. I couldn't tell on paper... But they were definitely hitting the two shoot-n-see's differently. I was able to shoot every round POA unsupressed and very noticeably higher supressed. You could see there was a difference between the holes between the two. I will call AAC tomorrow. |
