Can't find any .38 special BLANKS anywhere online.  Used to reload .38/.357 a while back but got rid of all my components so I can't do it anymore.

I need just 10 rounds of blank .38 special ammo - half charge of powder would be OK, though a full charge will be fine too.

I live in Central Florida, so if shipping is an issue and you are local I can meet up with you.

Email me at - [email protected]

Thanks!

There are a lot of on-line sellers for blanks, surprised you haven't found one. This may not help the op but for those that are interested say for dog training, races, other social events and so on. Pricy, yes but in the long run if they are used in quantity, the die should pay for itself.

I wouldn't suggest this as it would be dangerous if mishandled but it would be possible to bore the primer pocket hole slightly larger on regular 38 shells, seat a primer, charge with powder and plug with styrofoam. I'm saying it's dangerous because of the propellents and what will discharge out of the barrel. You need to increase the primer pocket hole diameter to prevent primer set-back, much as if you were reloading wax bullets.

Belongs in the EE. Would have flown with simply "where can I find blanks" without soliticing for someone to sell.
