I have an older Marlin 357 and I'd like to put a spare red dot on it.  Can you lever pros advise if the drilling at tapping was done at the factory and recommend a simple pic.  Rail that comes with screws.  Thanks for the help guys

Your 1894C was drilled and tapped for a scope at the factory and this piece of rail will fit ,but you might want to try an XS rail as it moves the red dot further out and makes it easier to see the dot.

Hope this helps.

Gun is factory drilled. XS Scout rail (low profile), Weaver scout rail or an EGW scope rail.
