I searched but couldn't find the thread where someone posted a picture of the newer asr mount SiCo was including with Omegas now. Does anyone remember that thread?
If I remember correctly he was having trouble removing it because of carbon build up. I'm pretty sure he said that SiCo replaced it with the newer one free of charge. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Yep...they added an extra lip. I've read of people getting the new one if you call and ask/complain, but mine came with the new version...just picked it up Sat. http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx151/thegreghorton/Mobile%20Uploads/4D7FC2C4-5796-4BE6-9FF4-C325673690B2_zpsqhrvt7uu.jpg Thanks BW! Got mine today and it's the one on the right in your picture. |

My ASR is CURRENTLY stuck to my Specwar flash hider. I even tried removing it with the supplied spanner and a length of pipe to increase the distance (after removing the FH from the gun and placing it in a vice. No good and I only succeeded in slightly bending the spanner wrench.
I have the older version and emailed them today about it. |

Yes. The one with the lip after the threads. The longer of the two, in case it's showing up backwards. Quoted:

So is the ASR mount on the left the new version? Mick Yes. The one with the lip after the threads. The longer of the two, in case it's showing up backwards. Thanks. Just picked mine up today and have the old, short version. Let's see what SiCo will do... Mick |

No, I was thinking of taking it back out and doing a mag dump to heat it back up with tools in hand to remove it.
In all seriousness though, SiCo emailed me back that they'll replace the ASR but I'm not sure they understood the whole problem, at least the cust service person who emailed me seemed to want me to send the whole suppressor in when that's not what's needed. I emailed them pics of the ASR stuck to the Specwar FH yesterday so hopefully that clears it up and they just send me a new ASR...I haven't heard back yet though. |

SiCo told me to send them just the ASR and they would swap it for the new style. Mick |
