http://i1205.photobucket.com/albums/bb434/JD422/Fal.jpg Just picked it up form a local guy. Very nice condtion DSA SA-58. Came with a DSA scope mount. 13 Austrin Metric Fal mags. Std. mount. 1 30rd mag, 2 5rd mags. I added the scope and mount of my Ar15 for now. This is one of DSA's with a non-chrome lined barrel. Put about 200rds through it functions great. I have had several Fal's over the years. What has been your experance with the DSA non-chrome lined barrels. Other than being a bit rough on my brass. What kind of groups have you Been getting. Best load? What weight of bullet? Thanks I will post some more pictures latter. Nice. I also have a SA-58 that I bought slightly used. Love it. The SA-58 barrels are reportedly US made Badger Ordinance. The SA-58 is known for accuracy among FALs. Groups with various, quality surplus usually is around 3-4 inches at 100 yards. That's using my 4x ACOG scope. Mine really likes Hornady Steel Match ammo . I can usually get groups down to about 1.5 - 2 inches. Not AR15 accurate, but close enough. |
