I thought I saw something about a new M1A chassis that came out at the shot show. I think it was Troy who developed it. Was I mistaken?

No, there was a Carbine version of the M14 in a smaller lighter MCS chassis with a 12" barrel shown at shot.

I'm sure the new chassis will be available to commercial sales before too long.

These vids are pretty much the same except they show different butt stocks and scope setups on the chassis.

Meh. John Garand got the stock right the first time. There's nothing really to change that will make it better except maybe material.
